USK Junior Football Club (JFC) has a brand new kit thanks to new sponsor the Acorn Group.

The recruitment and training company's sponsorship has seen Usk JFC under-16s receive full playing and training kit including training sweatshirts and an outdoors jacket.

Mike Thomas, Usk JFC under-16s coach said: "As a charity we are very grateful of the support of local businesses and the kit supplied by Acorn is very much appreciated by the club and the players themselves.

"We hope that during the season we can reward their support by winning as many matches as possible."

Maria Larcombe, Acorn's Director of Operations (South) said: "We are delighted to be able to support Usk JFC under 16s and play a supportive role during their season.

"The club is well-known for its family friendly ethos and their dedication to young players, of all abilities, providing support and appropriate training to ensure they are prepared for all games, home and away.
