The Chepstow and District Darts League season was completed last week, although the honours are still not 100 per cent clear. The 'A' league Singles was won by the Village Inn B, who finished four points above second placed Chepstow Football Club A, but in the A League Pairs, the title will go down to a title-deciding play off after the Village Inn B and Chepstow Football Club A both finished level on 26 points each at the top. The B League has a similar situation after the Five Alls took the Singles title with a four point lead over runners up Chepstow Athlectic Club, but both teams ended the season in the Pairs League on 26 points, and will now have to play off for the title. The play offs for both leagues will be played on 3rd September at Chepstow Town Football Club, also on this night will be the semi finals for the five-a-side knockout, the six-a-side knockout and the Men's Singles knockout. The highest checkout of the season was a 160 by Jon Worsely of the Village Inn B, and Jon also hit the most 180s with 10. Next week sees the Men's and Ladies singles knockout first round take place.
