Football sessions are being held on the Sports Ground over the summer holidays, with the emphasis being on fun and games with a football.
Morning sessions include football related games such as 'King of the Ring', 'Top Three' and 'Planets', and points are given to winners of some of the games, and then a trophy will be given for most points, and possibly a trophy for best newcomer.
The sessions cost a small fee; for members of the Kingfishers Football Club paying £10 and non-members £15.
"We have children from Herefordshire and Gloucester coming here to play as well as youngsters from Monmouth," said Mark Catlin, one of the organisers of the event.
The next session is open to anyone and is on 28th August, registration 9.45am to 10am, playing through until 3pm, bring own lunch and drinks.
