MONMOUTH Gym Club had their best ever competition results when they took part in the Swansea Open Championships recently. Erin Williams and Ella Bradley won Acro Pairs grade two, Georgia Bevan and Elena Evans-Small came second in Acro Pairs grade three with team mates Cerys Hughes and Halee Jenkins taking third. Taryn Birkett and Febe Cattanach and Darcy Birkett and Josie Jones also came third in their respective age group Acro Pairs grade three. Amelia Rice, Ellie Williams and Millie Watkins came second in Trio Acro grade three and Meg Lewis, Lou Pardington and Caitlin Shaw came third in Acro grade four. It was then announced that the team of Georgia, Elena, Cerys, Halee, Amelia, Ellie, Millie, Meg, Lou and Caitlin had finished second overall and were awarded silver medals, finishing off a fantastic day for the club. The medals are a reflection of all the hard work and commitment that the girls put in to training, inciting a huge amount of pride for the families and club supporters.
