May I take this opportunity of using the letters page in the Beacon to convey my thanks to the following businesses, who so kindly sponsored either food or our raffle prizes at our Summer Celebration at Monmouth Comprehensive School last week: Marks & Spencer, Thorntons at Hallmark, Moncacoa, Fat Face, Bolwell Sports, Somerfield/Co-op, Number 37, Granny Browns Chocolate Box, Millets, Hancocks, Wigmores and Iceland.
Their generosity was wonderful, and we are very appreciative of this support for the school.
The Summer Celebration was a wonderful way to round off the Summer Learning Week and was enjoyed by both students and parents alike.
