Temporary road closure in Penallt
Monmouthshire County Council has announced a temporary road closure on The Craig Road, Penallt, to allow essential works by Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. The closure will begin on Thursday, December 11 , and is expected to last until Saturday, December 13 , though the order remains valid for up to 18 months should delays occur.
The affected section spans approximately 135 metres, starting about 115 metres from its junction with C48.1 The Craig Road to Penallt. The closure is necessary to ensure the works are carried out safely. Access to properties along the route will be maintained, although short delays may occur.
As The Craig Road is a no-through road, no diversion route will be provided. Residents are advised to plan accordingly and allow extra time for travel during this period.
