The Christmas spirit lives on in Monmouth with a sleigh of Santas adding a dash of colour to a grey Sunday morning in Monnow Street.

The annual Spirit of Monmouth Santa Fun Run saw 340 runners of all ages take to the street and raise money for the running club’s chosen charity, Mind Monmouthshire .

This year’s Santa first over the line was Will Lodwick, with Lily Cornish hot on his heels, and third Santa home was Zack Mason.

Their wooden finisher’s medals and biodegradable ribbons not only celebrate their accomplishment but also reflect the club’s commitment to sustainability. With entry fees supporting local charities, including past contributions of over £1,600, every step runners take helps make a difference in our community.
