SIR,

I would like to draw your attention to the amount of fly tipping that has occured recently along the Link Road, especially the bags of rubble, car batteries and other household rubbish.

Is there any wonder that people are doing this with the council trying to reduce the amount and type of rubbish we can put out for collection?

Also the fact that the people of Monmouth are now having to face a 32 mile round trip to the recycling site in Llanfoist because Viridor have now refused to accept anything that cannot be recycled (for example car and torch batteries, white goods, paint and building materials) because, all of a sudden, they have not got the liscenses to accept the above items, although they have always accepted them in the past.
