J & N Civils Ltd, based at The Croft Farm, Llanvetherine, Abergavenny, has applied to amend its existing Goods Vehicle Operator’s Licence. The company plans to add a new operating centre at Penrhos Farm, Llantilio Crossenny, Abergavenny (NP7 8TN), where it intends to keep five goods vehicles and one trailer.

Under licensing rules, owners or occupiers of land near the proposed operating centre who believe their property use or enjoyment could be affected are invited to submit written representations. These must be sent to the Traffic Commissioner at Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UE, within 21 days of this notice, stating the reasons for objection.

Last chance to comment on planning applications

Residents have until December 18 to comment on a series of new planning applications under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) (England) Order 2015 and the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

Among the proposals is application 253223, seeking permission to demolish and replace a building with a purpose-built office, reception, and training facility for Thomas Panels & Profiles at Unit 1, Brierley Way, Leominster.

In Hereford, applications 253240 and 253241 request Listed Building Consent and approval for works affecting the setting of a listed building and conservation area. The plans include forming a flat above commercial premises at 61 Commercial Street, removing modern partitions, and creating a new internal layout.

Other notable submissions include 253250, for roof lights and a flue at Aylton Barn, Ross-on-Wye, and 253002, proposing a new finished goods warehouse at Heineken Brewery, Plough Lane, Hereford. Two applications, 253138 and 253139, seek variations to previously approved schemes at The Threshing Barn, Upton Bishop.

In Pembridge, 253227 proposes dividing The Olde Steppes Shop into two independent properties while retaining parking spaces.

Amended details have also been submitted for 250805, involving demolition and redevelopment of 10 dwellings at St Martin’s Street, Hereford, and 250992, for an infill extension and refurbishment at Rocklands Farm House, Goodrich.
