Listed building plans in county
Two new applications for listed building consent have been submitted to Monmouthshire County Council, inviting public comment over the coming weeks.
At The Corn Mill on Berthon Road, Little Mill , plans have been lodged to remove and replace rotten softwood windows with new flush‑casement units designed to preserve the building’s character while addressing long‑term deterioration.
A second application, relates to 1 Monnow Street, Monmouth , the Principality Building Society premises. The proposal seeks permission to install a black metal security fence along the rear boundary, aimed at improving site security without compromising the appearance of the listed structure.
Both applications are now available to view online at www.monmouthshire.gov.uk/planning, where residents can examine full details.
The council is inviting representations within 21 days of the notice date via [email protected].
