May I, on behalf of the Monmouth Royal British Legion, thank everyone who contributed to our appeal during the week of the National Poppy Appeal?

Without the efforts of all our street collecting volunteers, donations from all our churches and all the shops and businesses who had poppy boxes on their premises we would not have made the wonderful amount of £12,550.63.
