ROTARY Monmouth and town residents supporting Ukraine held a very successful street collection on Saturday raising over £1250.
A fully equipped private ambulance costing £6,500 has been located. The ambulance is fitted out as a standard ambulance and used as such. So it will come directly from use and go straight into use, a ready to go unit.
Just £20 can supply essential medical items, and £100 can help equip the vehicle with life-saving equipment. It also costs around £700 for delivery to Ukraine. Every donation, no matter the size, helps bridge the gap between crisis and healing.
A spokesman for Rotary said: “Thank you for your generous donations, please pass on this appeal to your contacts so that we can get the ambulance to Ukraine. It is sorely needed. If you would like to donate towards our new target of £8000 please donate on gofundme here: https://gofund.me/026d87be2" ‘
