The fifth Forest of Dean Mountain Bike Enduro event took place on Sunday 26th September.
The event, organised and promoted jointly by the Royal Dean Forest Cycle Club and Black Sheep Sports, was again based on an approx nine-mile off-road loop that has been painstakingly developed by the Forestry Commission and club members over the past five years.
A dry and bright autumnal day left more than 250 riders with almost perfect conditions to enjoy the demanding course's tough climbs and tricky singletrack descents, some of the best the forest has to offer.
The four-lap race was won by Greame Forbes in an exceptional time of 3hr 2min 10secs, Graeme creating a winning gap on the third lap.
