A WYE Valley man has been refused bail and remanded after pleading guilty to dangerous driving in Risca.

David Samuel, 34, from Chepstow but of no fixed abode, admitted driving a BMW dangerously on the A467 on October 9.

Samuel was remanded due to the seriousness of the offence, and a previous history of further offending whilst on bail.

Newport Magistrates’ Court committed him to Cardiff Crown Court for sentencing on November 13.
