MADAM,
Would Mr David Davies MP, a member of the government party who apparently was an enthusiastic supporter of Leave, explain an outstanding ’leftover’ item?
We are told that the negotiations could possibly last up to two years, starting from the time the UK formally informs the EU of its departure from the Union. Does that mean that the shock £350 million weekly payment we were told about for the first time by his campaign, is still being made?
Might it continue throughout the whole period of negotiation?
That suggests that £36.4 billion may still need to be paid to Brussels, which won’t then be available to pay for the NHS, as promised, or anything else that arises during the period.
Perhaps he could clarify?
