A christingle service for the Monmouth Scouts and Guide Association was held in the ancient church of St Thomas the Martyr at Overmonnow.

With contributions by the cubs, beavers, rainbows, brownies and from Monmouth and Wyesham Guides, the service was jointly taken by Rev Nick Munday, curate, and Father David McGladdery.

An outgoing collection was made for the Archbishop of Wales Fund for Children.
