Christmas time is fast approaching, for many it is a time for families to catch up with each other, a time for fun, love and laughter.

Christmas time is also a time for memories, sweet memories of our loved ones who are no longer here with us.

At Llanfoist Village Hall on Sunday 9th December at 7pm Simply Spiritual Abergavenny are presenting their loved one which of course they take home with them. They are given a night light which they light, in their loved one's memory, from the flame of a dedicated candle.

The evening is full of memories and love, and of upliftment and laughter which is concluded by a large buffet donated by the lovely ladies who help me at every service.

To these ladies I give my grateful thanks, not only for the buffet but for all their help during the year.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those people who attend out services, and for all the love they bring with them.

Our service on 9th December will be our last one this year, our next meeting will be on January 27th 2013.

I wish everybody a peaceful Christmas time, and that health and happiness be yours throughout the New Year.
