SOUTH Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to put out a fire in Monmouth on March 19 involving a garden shed and hedgerow.

A spokesperson from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, said: “SWFRS received a call at 2.02pm yesterday to a fire involving one garden shed and approximately 10 metres of hedgerow.

“Crews from Monmouth attended, using two horse reel jets and two breathing apparatus sets to extinguish the fire.”

“STOP message was received at 2.35pm.”
