A COFFEE morning was held where residents and local councillors were able to voice their concerns of issues affecting the local area.

It was held by Catherine Fookes, and it was hosted in Caldicot giving residents an opportunity to raise any concerns they might have.

A range of topics were raised during the discussion how the town and wider comunity can be improved.

Catherine Fookes MP said: “Thank you to everyone who came along to the coffee morning in Caldicot. It was fantastic to speak to residents and hear their on how we can make Caldicot and the surrounding areas even better.

“I’ll now be putting together a short report with the key themes and next the the surrounding areas even better.”

The session in Caldicot follows on from the successful session recently held in Monmouth.

Catherine is going to continue to hold more of these coffee mornings, supermarket, and door knocking sessions across Monmouthshire in the coming months to ensure she is listening to residents as much as possible.
