Two young footballers from Monmouth Comprehensive School are celebrating being league champions.
Emily Bressington from Rockfield and Jesse Davies, of Dingestow, are part of the Mardy Tigers U12 Yellows, who won the South Wales Gwent Girls League.

Striker Jesse played her part by contributing many of the goals.
Manager Kevin Bressington praised the team's committment and talent, saying he is confident they will enjoy the new challenges ahead in Division 1.
