MONMOUTH Cricket Club will be opening their Thomas, Carroll Glamorgan and Monmouthshire League campaign at Dinas Powys.
Paul Swingwood's men have received their 2012 Division Three fixtures and will be travelling down the M4 for their league debut on Saturday 5th May.
Monmouth's first home match is against Cardiff Gymkhana at the Sports Ground the following Saturday.
The border club, who are sponsored by JD Wetherspoon, will have league matches this summer against old Gwent League rivals Pontymister, Ponthir and Machen.
They are scheduled to round off their first-team campaign against Llantwit Fadre at the Sports Ground on Saturday 1st September.
Dave Wilding will be leading Monmouth's Second team this summer and his charges begin their 2nd XI Division Three fixtures at home to Dinas Powys Seconds on 5th May.
Wilding's team can look forward to renewing their league battles this term with old rivals Hoovers, from Merthyr, and Ebbw Vale.
Vice-chairman Ian Morgan (pictured) said the club had received messages from old friends since moving back into the Welsh fold earlier this month.
Monmouth have played outside the Welsh structure since their move to the Marches League in 1993.
They competed in the Worcestershire County League since 2006.
Morgan said: "It's great to be back in the Welsh structure and I know our juniors will benefit from the vision we are trying to create.
"We would like our senior and junior structures to mirror each other and we are delighted to have around 10 lads involved in winter county coaching with Gwent Young Cricketers."
Morgan added: "We've been made to feel very welcome by clubs in our area and we've had messages from Mike Kear at Usk, Paul Bennett at Chepstow and Ieuan Watkins from Croesyceiliog."
Meanwhile, Monmouth will be running junior teams at under nine, under 11, under 13 and under 15 levels this summer.
The club have appointed a new treasurer, Claire Lowther, who is being backed up by David Williams.
And Jules MacFarlane is the new secretary, also having been elected at the club's recent annual meeting.
