MONMOUTH and Coleford Tae Kwon Do Club recently took part in the Welsh Closed competition at the University of Wales in Caerleon.

Daniel David took a gold in junior sparring and Caitlin Jenkins and Alice Weire took bronze in Black Belt sparring.

Aimmie Day took bronze in junior sparring and Gary Smith took bronze in the senior male heavyweight sparing.

There were over 200 competitors and the club did very well to come away with such a clutch of medals.
