Monmouth sprinter Ryan Lee had a break from his winter training schedule to take part in the Cardiff half marathon on 6th October.
More than 19,000 athletes took part in what was a fantastic event. Ryan did not train for this event as it would have had a detrimental effect on his normal sprint training.
Ryan's motivation to do this event was to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK, which his father was diagnosed with in 2009.
He completed the 13.2-mile course in a time of one hour 50 minutes and would like to thank everyone who sponsored him towards his final sum raised, which was £511.
It's now back to normal winter training for Ryan.
