MONMOUTH and Coleford Tae Kwon Do club travelled to the Welsh Closed Championships last week and came back with a clutch of medals.

Held at the University of South Wales' Caerleon Campus, awards were given both for teams and individual sparring.

Instructor Tony Farr, a sixth Dan Black Belt himself, said his members put in a lot of effort to gain an award.

"They put in a lot of hard work during training sessions and have been well rewarded for their efforts," he added.
