The second Whitebrook Wind-Up Half Marathon took place last Sunday, (20th May) and took nearly 100 runners along a scenic route through the banks of the River Wye and up through some of the Wye Valley's most splendid woodland, followed by two tough climbs, each one nearly 600ft.

Some of the Monmouth runners that took part included Monmouth Trailblazers James Fletcher, Tom Cooling and Luke James, Dan and James Gaunt, whose mum Sarah was one of the stewards, and Sarah Frost, who has just completed the Cardiff Half Marathon. Full results next week.
