AFTER a number of competitions over three weeks Kestrel gymnasts won 62 medals, trophies or ribbons.

After qualifying in the East Region Schools Tumble and Vault Championships, Georgie Davies, Heather Dent, Jessica Ham, Rebecca Ham, Clare John, Isabelle Jones, Imogen Dowling, Joseph Dunster, Oliver Sapsford, William Dent and Mackenzie Thornton are all through to the Welsh Schools Tumble and Vault Championships in Cardiff.

There was great success in the Welsh National Development Plan (NDP) Tumbling Championships as Georgie Davies, Elisha Burke, Sam Dallimore, Cameron Maggs and Joel Kohler-Hoon are all through to the British Semi Finals in Peterborough in May. 

A total of 33 medals were won at the competition in the West Street Tumbling Championships in Swansea, where gold medal winners included Tom Hook and Rhys Jones.
