MONMOUTH Gymnastics Club finished the year with their annual opening evening for parents.

"It was a super evening of entertainment and very well supported," said Karen Noblett, head coach for the club.

The display team were presented with medals following their successful performance of 'Heart of Courage' to the huge audience at the Welsh Eisteddfod.

The senior gymnasts also performed brilliantly with their pacy cheer-leading routine.

Exciting times are ahead for the club with new classes for boys and children with disabilities.

Waitrose in Monmouth are currently the club with the Community Matters discs for funds for much needed equipment to take the club even further.
