Five girls from Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls (HMSG) have been selected to represent Wales at the forthcoming Home Nations U19 Championships, to be hosted by Scotland at Easter.

All of the girls have been selected to play in the top (A) squad in a tournament contested between Wales, England, Scotland and Ireland, where all four nations produce A and B squads.

Arianna Guppy, Emanuella Kefalas, Holly Hall, Megan Thomas and Poppy Thompson were all selected last weekend and were delighted to be included in the top squad.

The girls will all be competing in the National Schools' rallies at the start of March, where the HMSG 1stXII and U15XII are targeting success against the other top schools in the UK.

Head of Lacrosse, Mrs C Crawford, is delighted to see so many girls receiving international honours and believes that the future of Lacrosse at HMSG looks very bright indeed.
