Gwent County League Division Two

MATHERN will look to build on last week’s win over Cefn Fforest tomorrow as they welcome Newport side Spencer Youth and Boys to Mathern Athletic Club in Gwent County League Division Two.

Mathern, who were previously winless in 2016, beat bottom-placed Cefn Fforest 6-0, with goals from Jordan Barrett, Matty Board, Elliot Greening, Mark Organ and a double from Ieuan Diyaolu to secure the three points.

Spencer Youth and Boys currnetly sit second in the league, having played two games less than the home side.

In September Mathern secured victory, winning 3-1 in Newport.
