NINE students represented Monmouth Comprehensive School on Tuesday 8th November in the Under 13 Girls Newport County Cup. After six wins out of six, and no goals conceded, the MCS girls were crowned champions.

Tillie Westwood, Maddie Francis, Charlie Willets , Emily Jane Simmons, Izzy Dennis, Millie Malsom, Bethan Keane, Maisie Drew, Kaitlynne Bullock will now represent Newport County in the Regional Finals in Exeter after Christmas.

Emily Jayne Simmons and Charlie Willets were players of the tournament. Charlie Willets captained the side and was superb all day scoring the winner in the final to win 1-0.
