East Gwent Senior League Centenary Cup semi-final - Portskewett and Sudbrook 2 Underwood B 8

UNDERWOOD B’s bid to do the double by lifting Division Two’s league and cup titles is still on track thanks to a sparkling five-goal performance by Callum Ford.

Team boss Craig Johnson and his players watched the last few minutes of final opponents Sudbrook’s win over Chepstow Athletic and admitted the task his men face will be a difficult one.

“It was a good performance by my players who were determined to book a place in the final,” he said later.

“Callum Ford and Jermaine Allen had a brilliant game and now we look forward to the final against Sudbrook. It will be a difficult game!”

Before their semi-final Underwood’s captain Luke Ryall received the Division Two trophy from East Gwent Senior League official Cliff Currey and the team lined up for a team picture.
