A former world number one darts player took on the customers of a Monmouth betting shop.

A number of regulars at Betfred in Monnow Street managed to outscore darts legend Peter Manley to win a free 'goals galore' bet.

Customers also enjoyed a free buffet and drinks, while a Betfred leprechaun offered free play in the gaming area.

Store manager Andy Nunn said: "I am delighted with the turnout and response, everyone had fun especially those who watched Peter outscore me by a country mile."
