A DRAMA production suitable for the whole family will be shown at Dingestow Village Hall on Sunday 23rd November.

The original play, Into the Book, has been written by 10-year-old Lewis Powell and will raise money for the British Heart Foundation. The play follows a girl called Mia who loves to read but is discouraged by her parents.

The play takes a magical turn after Mia falls down a mysterious vortex, meeting different characters from her favourite books.

10-year-old Lewis was diagnosed as having a whole in his heart, leading to his fundraising for the British Heart Foundation.

Mum Carla Powell said: "He is such a talented boy, all his friends love him. He has worked incredibly hard on this production. I'm so proud of him."

Local businesses have been backing the production and some fabulous prizes have been donated for the raffle that will take place on the night.

Inspirational Lewis, who has suspected autism, will also star in the show.

The play starts at 5 o'clock and entry is free.
