Year 5 had an amazing time on their annual residential trip to Naturesbase, set in the stunning Ceredigion countryside. This unique environmental field study centre is all about inspiring young minds through challenge, creativity and curiosity—and it certainly delivered!Over three action-packed days, pupils took part in a wide range of hands-on activities that built confidence, teamwork and a deeper connection with nature. They tackled team-building challenges, built shelters and fires, tried their hand at orienteering and even hiked all the way to Aberaeron. They learned how to forage, made natural soap, cooked pizzas in a wood-fired clay oven and even designed a theme park for crabs!
