A CHEPSTOW theatre group have been busy rehearsing ready for their sell-out production of Sister Act taking place this week.

The class-act is taking place at Wyedean School in Chepstow, and is being shown between the 19th and 21st of February.

The musical follows gangster’s moll and nightclub singer Deloris Van Cartier as she is placed in a convent for her own protection, whilst featuring a range of uplifting songs including: Take me to Heaven, Fabulous Baby and Raise Your Voice.

The theatre group features local performers aged 18 to 40+, all of whom are balancing studies, work life and rehearsals.

They have been working tirelessly to bring countless amounts of energy to the stage, ensuring the audience take away a memorable experience.
