EX-MONMOUTH School rugby player Hallam Amos has been selected in the 31-man Wales World Cup squad. Amos, 20, survived the final cut on Monday as the squad was trimmed from 38 to 31.

Having just finished his second year of medical studies at Cardiff University, he experienced a gruelling pre-World Cup training regime in Switzerland and Qatar, before returning to win two caps in the recent warm-up games against Ireland, which brings his total to three caps.
