Monmouth Netball Club has had a great start to 2011 with all three teams winning their matches.
Monmouth Netball Club currently has one team entered in the South East Wales Netball League, which takes place in Cwmbran Stadium Monday evenings, and two teams entered in the Wye Valley League which runs on a Tuesday evening at Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls.
Monmouth went into their last game after losing several on the trot and needed a win to boost their confidence and get their winning streak back after having such a good start to the season in division one of the SE Wales League.
They played Blackwood, who they managed to beat easily at their last meeting but have since lost two key players and have struggled to gel as a team with so many changes.
The game was very close throughout and both teams needed the win, the game was physical and exciting to watch.
