BRIDGES Community Centre are hosting a winter walk for the Monmouth centre, aiming to raise funds which can help revitalise the space after being severely affected by the flooding.

“Walk 4 Bridges” is a sponsored walk to raise funds for the Bridges Flood Appeal, which will take place on Saturday, January 31 2026.

They will be sharing more information as the date approaches on their social media platforms.

Organisers hope the community event will unite Monmouth residents to support the cherished town building.

Bridges’ entire ground floor was submerged beneath three feet of water, by the November floods, causing extensive damage and closing the building until next year.

It is home to 15 small businesses, over 70 groups and classes, and several wellbeing projects.
