After another week of promises that signal issues are being resolved, there still seems to be no improvement for Vodafone clients.

To date, the signal has been faulty or failed completely in some areas of Monmouth and Coleford for the past 28 days.

Monmouth MP David Davies has sent numerous emails to Vodafone officials demanding an update as to why their promises of a restored signal by Monday was not delivered.

At the time of printing, Mr Davies had received no answer and has pledged to refer the matter urgently to Ofcom.

A spokesperson for Vodafone on Tuesday afternoon said: "Our engineers are working constantly but the signal is not as stable as we would like it to be.

"We have another engineering meeting today and should be able to identify a way forwards after this."

Vodafone sends sincere apologies to their affected customers and assures them that the issue is being dealt with as a matter of urgency. However, no timeframe is offered for the correction of the fault.
