Dingestow’s annual fete raised more than £1,000 for St Dingat’s Church last Saturday 29th August.

The best weather of the Bank Holiday weekend was enjoyed by the villagers and campers from the nearby caravan site who browsed the book, plant, and gift stalls, and took advantage of the pony and trap rides provided by Edwin Rusling and Diane Lane of Grosmont.

Guess the name of the patio rose was won by Shirley Cole who guessed ‘Sweet Wonder’, the first prize of £25 in the raffle was won by Kate Pritchard and Anita Wilkinson guessed correctly the weight of the egg.
