Wye Valley Music’s annual Christmas choral concert was held in St. Mary’s church, Chepstow on December 7th. The Bristol University Singers programme, “Gabriel’s message” was an outstanding performance matched by the generosity of the audience in the retiring collection, where over £520 was raised for the severely affected Bridges centre, Wye Valley Music’s home in Monmouth.

On Sunday, December 14th in St. Briavels church at 3pm, there is a second fund-raising concert. WVM has teamed up with renowned musicians from Wye Valley Chamber music for a concert of glorious music by Mendelssohn, Schubert, Dvorak and Schumann to raise funds for the Mayor of Monmouth’s flood appeal.
