THE family of a pedestrian killed on the A449 near Usk have spoken of their devastation.
44-year-old Robert Madden from Tredegar died last Sunday morning (1st February), after being involved in a collision with a white Mercedes Sprinter van.
His family said: "The whole family are absolutely devastated, words are not enough to explain just how much, he was an amazing Dad, devoted partner and just a wonderful person, everyone who knew him loved him, we are left with a void in our hearts that will never be filled".
A 41-year-old man from Monmouth was arrested and placed in police custody. He has since been released on bail.
