A Monmouth man has paid an emotional tribute to his girlfriend after she was killed in a car crash in the Wye Valley.

Hannah Rosher died after her Vauxhall Corsa left the A466 near Bigsweir Bridge and collided with a tree on Saturday 5th January.

The 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and her parents Steve and Sally Rosher spoke of their daughter as a "bubbly, feisty, vivacious and beautiful girl".

Her boyfriend Darci Edwards and friends Evie, Charlotte and Robyn have since released balloons near Hannah's home in Bristol in her memory.

Darci said: "Hannah is such a special girl, I was so proud to call her my girlfriend, I feel so blessed to have been the last person to hold her, make her laugh and kiss her.

"The time I knew her we instantly fell for each other, she was such a caring person who only saw the good in people.

"She was one of a kind, such an individual, she loved her food and her disco pants, I will always remember her smile and her laugh.

"Hannah, I will forever have you in my heart, you were special, you are my soul mate.

"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. I love you Hannah, sleep tight, see you soon."

Hannah's friend Robyn added: "It's amazing how someone can make an such a huge impact in your life in such a short amount of time.

"I only knew Hannah properly for two years, but they were such an amazing two years.

"She was so selfless, she only cared about others and never once put herself before her friends, she would never let you see her upset or sad and she always tried her very best to make sure that you were happy.

"She is truly one of a kind, and I was blessed to know her even if it was for a short time.

"I'm not saying goodbye because it's not the end, but I love you Hannah and i'll see you later."
