Promoting this year’s Monmouthshire Show, Ella the black Shetland pony was star on Sunday 9th June.
This year’s show, on Sunday 6th July, promises to be another fun-packed day with something for everyone
Chair of the Show Liz Hacket Pain said: "We are offering discount tickets so as many people as possible can visit the show and see the wonderful attractions. Not only are there masses of family activities there are the horse and livestock events throughout the day. This is matched by over 200 trade stands, a food hall with local producers and the most spectacular craft marquee."
Inaugurated by the local farming and town communities 200 years ago, the show has certainly moved with the times, but one of its aims is still to represent life in the wonderful Wye Valley.
Every year the show attract thousands of visitors, young and old, and there is something for everyone.
The show has exciting demonstrations, displays and parades in the main ring and their music stage speaks for itself and there’s even a sheep shearing competition.
