May I use the columns of your newspaper to let your readers know that tickets for Off Centre Theatre's mid-summer production at The Savoy Theatre in Church Street are now on sale?

The entertainment, from Thursday 20th to Saturday 22nd June, comprises two one-act comedies and one Alan Bennett Talking Heads.

The gentle comedy of misunderstandings in Knightsbridge by John Mortimer (of Rumpole of the Bailey fame) is followed by the riotous hilarity of Last Tango in Little Grimley, one of the most successful short comedies ever produced for the amateur stage.

Between the one-act plays, Jim Newcomb will give an abbreviated reading of A Chip in the Sugar by Alan Bennett.

Off Centre Theatre are offering a pleasurable and joyous evening of live theatre finishing about 9.30pm, in time for a late drink on the patio in the warmth of the summer evening.

Tickets, £8, can be purchased beforehand at the Savoy Theatre Box Office and will be available on the door during performances.
