Temporary Closure of A4137

Herefordshire Council has announced a temporary road closure on the A4137 near Marstow Bridge, affecting 50 metres either side of the bridge (Grid Ref: 355248/219034). The closure will begin on September 15 and is expected to last two days, although the order allows for up to 18 months if needed.

Footpath closure in Orcop

Herefordshire Council has temporarily closed Public Footpath OC10 in Orcop due to a landslide. The affected section runs from grid reference SO 4449 2552 to SO 4478 2560. There is currently no alternative route available. The closure came into effect on August 21 and may remain in place for up to 12 months or until the works are completed. Angel Bakery’s alcohol and music plan

Monmouthshire Bakery has submitted an application to vary the premises licence for Angel Bakery, located at 50 Cross Street, Abergavenny. If approved, the licence will allow the sale of alcohol and the playing of recorded music between 9am and 11pm daily.

The application is open for public comment, and anyone wishing to make a representation must do so in writing to The Licensing Section, Monmouthshire County Council, County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, within 28 consecutive days from the date of this notice.
