SIR,

May I, through your letters column, say how angry I was on going to my mothers bungalow at Lime Tree Avenue, Wyesham, to find some bright spark had stolen the wrought iron bird feeder outside her front window.

She is 90 years of age and one of her main pleasures was watching the antics of the birds feeding.

If anyone knows who was responsible for this theft please tell them from me what a mean spirited act it was and how distressed my mother is at its loss.

I dont hold out any hope that an attack of conscience will bring the feeder back.

Wendy Lewis
