SIR,
I totally agree with the comments made by K Simmonds in the Beacon dated 13th April regarding the misuse of part of Drybridge Park by some young cyclists.
It used to be such a delight to walk through the park and look upon areas carpeted with lovely spring flowers such as primroses, violets, crocuses and daffodils.
But alas, the flower show there has sadly been destroyed by the constant pounding of bicycle wheels – what a shame.
Certain town councillors have been made aware of this ongoing problem in Drybridge Park, but to no avail.
