Bridges Community Centre would like to offer its great thanks to the Fencing Partnership and Travis Perkins for their assistance in enabling Bridges to fence off the area around the large atlas cedar tree in the grounds.

The Fencing Partnership generously supplied the posts and labour and Travis Perkins donated the cement.

This vital work will help to preserve the life of a magnificent tree as car parking under the tree was in danger of compacting the soil and damaging the extensive root system.

It will also prevent cones from falling on people's heads or their cars.
