SIR, The Officers, Members and Fellowship Members of the Monmouth Division St John Ambulance and St John Council, would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Monmouth and surrounding areas for their support on our recent Flag Day, pictured below. The total raised was £582.67. This money together with other donations received throughout the year, will be used in the ongoing refurbishment to the Divisional Headquarters in St Mary's Street, which is nearing its current completion. It is hoped it will provide not only new facilities for the Division but a modern training environment for first aid, or other organisations within the town to use. On Friday the 26th September the Division will be taking part in Save a Life September by providing a free first aid course to the public at its headquarters, 7.30 – 9.30pm. Contact 07770775705.
